Seahaven FM - Genuinely Local What's on
Nigel Horn at Bluebell Roots
Event Date: Sun - 25 Sep 2022
Event Time: 6:15 pm
Nigel Horn is a self-taught musician and singer-song writer, playing original material, predominantly Celtic Fingerstyle acoustic guitar. Also plays Slide guitar and Bouzouki. Provided all original music for the feature length Documentary 'The Road to St. Paul's', produced by Melvin Bragg and which had a UK Theatrical cinema release and a BBC TV transmission.
A founder member of The Briar Band, since lockdown lifted he has been playing increasingly regular solo gigs in the South East and more recently combining on some songs with another ex-Briar Band member, vocalist Melanie Smith.
He occasionally and sparingly uses a couple of fx in order to provide some different textures to the music, something he was inspired to by his initial musical hero, John Martyn.
Recent live videos are on his Facebook page, Instagram and YouTube.
Your regular co-hosts, Milton Hide will join Neil, kick the evening off and send you home with a song. There will also be wonderful floor performers. (Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to play)
